I spring and fall clean my cabinets twice a year. I use Old English furniture polish. It cleans, conditions the wood, and leaves them looking so nice. It also covers any nicks or scratches. If your cabinets are not too bad, you will find it where furniture polish is sold. It comes in dark or light color according to the wood in your cabinets.

Not furniture polish! It puts morr oil on the cabinets! You can just use some soapy water if not too dirty. Or a solution of Murphy’s oil soap. Since you didn’t say how bad they are, if really dirty & oily, they might need sanding & revarnishing & sealing. Oil only @ the end! It attracts mire dirt. I have a friend who has really bad cabinets & she found a chalk paint that can be used over dirty ones without cleaning. Just do some research on that type. Hope this helps. Sometimes if cleaning a lot of gunk off, the varnish comes also. Hand oil dissolves it eventually.

Dawn dish detergent for the grease. Wash, rinse, and dry. On wooden cabinets. Then lemon oil apply and buff. There are the spray Bottle products for wood. Johnson's is a good one . however I really Like to use lemon oil. (Wear disposable gloves )
