I bought this system last year, but cannot find a contractor to do the hook up.
It would involve a few electeical connections and repiping of coolant from AC unit to intersept heat taken oit of house and transfered to pool water.

Well you would definitely need an HVAC tech to connect the AC lines to the unit. A plumber to connect the pool lines and pool guy to connect the the control panel to the pool panel or anyone capable of doing it. One thing I will say that none of the installers would provide guarantee or warranty since this is all after market products. A lot would not want take any liability to do the hook up. As a former HVAC owner I would refuse a job as this. It can void the AC warranty and possibly the pool pump and control warranty. Maybe the manufacturer has licensed installers within your area that certified to install the units or could refer someone.

You've just listed every road block I've run into. With the exception of the pool plumbing (which I've already done), and the pool pump which isn't a problem with this system.

The manufacture did give me a couple of HVAC referrals but I did not receive a response from any contrator.

Sorry to hear you're having a problem getting it done. They don't want to take the responsibility and there really isn't any profit for them. I know some my HVAC guys did side jobs and I didn't mind as long as they purchase the equipment through me. You might be able to find someone who does side work. Another concern I would have is any chemicals in the pool water can react and corrode the copper coil in the unit.
