If you mean on gas stove grates, we bought one in the past year and the instructions said to put the grates in the dishwasher. I can put 2 on the bottom and one on the top along with the pots and pans. Our stove is an LG brand. Do you still have your manual for your stove? Maybe the manual would say what to do? (if you bought it new). Maybe yours are dish washer safe too. Just an idea for you to consider.

I said what the heck the other day and sprayed DirTex window cleaner on a pan with baked on food I had used a brillo pad on. Sprayed the DirTex on and I could not believe my eyes. The baked on food started to loosen and all I did was wipe it off. I love DirTex. I am amazed at what I can use it on.
