Has anyone made a queen headboard from pallet wood or fence wood?

I would like to attach a wood headboard to my queen bed frame and not the wall.

Just get an old door and make a frame for it to fasten to the bed rail.

  It is not safe to use most pallet board and fencing boards inside because most are treated with chemicals. So be careful and make sure you know what you are getting.
