Not sure if it will work but you may try VINEGAR pored on an old towel to remove it. let it soak for a few minutes then try to scrub it away.

P.S.- You MAY try LIGHTER FLUID also, BUT be very careful it MAY also desolve the floor finish. Try just a very small area to see if it softens the glue and not the floor finish.

    Gently try a magic eraser!

    1. Use scotch tape to pull it off. If that doesn't remove it all...
    2. Apply vegetable oil to the area and let it soak in for a couple of hours.
    3. Use a warm (not hot) hair dryer to soften the glue, and wipe the residue off.

Use hot soapy water and cloth for a final clean.

LIGHTER FLUID?! Magic eraser can dull the finish. Saturate some paper towels with Goo Gone. Place it on top of the label and let is sit for a while. Check every so often using a plastic scraper or credit card to see if it comes off easy.

Two of the answers above may be the first you want to try: NC Landlady suggesting Vegetable oil to remove labels. I learned this from the web when I wanted to remove a label from a pretty bottle and it worked! Which surprised me, because oil to remove a label would be the last thing I would think of. William (Burbank) suggests GooGone, which also works, which may just be glorified vegetable oil, but if you buy it, you also get a good plastic scraper that works well, and won't do damage.

Goo gone. Soak some in a paper towel or pour a little on the sticker.

You will see a difference right away. This is good on just about every

thing without any marks or damage to the wood.

Mayo applied liberalply and let sit 30 min. It should then wipe off. If needed repeat.
