Voles, moles and trolls all hide in dark places, and to the best of my knowledge, they all hate mothballs. If you can find the holes in your yard or nest under your house and bushes, put a few mothballs in each area. You can’t drown them out, scare them out, or gas them out. Poisoning is dangerous around other pets and small children, and may be illegal in your area. You can trap a few, but you will have to take them far away from your house. Most animal control units won’t come out for them because they are not vicious animals. I can’t wait to read some of the other answers. Best wishes ☺️

I’ve tried to Tomcat trap and the Sweeney worms and they both didn’t work. Some have suggested to get a cat.

Voles and moles travel on their bellies. I read that if you put a garden size windmill near their nest, they will move out. They cannot tolerate the vibrations given off from the windmill. Best of luck to you.
