This is an easy project. I'm covering these chairs to match the chairs my Mom has in her kitchen/dining room.

Here's what the chair used to look like
This is the chair seat- the stains are pretty much set in there. They will not come off on the new fabric.

Use a heavy duty fabric- something you can easily clean, but use one that you like.

You want to make sure that your fabric is just wider than what you need
Fold it over so it covers the edges ( front and back)
Because of the way the cushion goes- I'm going to start in the corners

I'm using an electric staple gun but you can use a regular one as well.
Put a staple in one corner. Then pull tight but not too tight ( so that it covers and has no wrinkles) Then staple in the rest of the corners.
Then flip it over. Check and make sure you have no major wrinkles
Now just staple.Start in the middle and work your way to the edges.

Now the corners. Simple fold and staple it down to keep the fold.
The front is the most important.
Cut away the excess fabric

Now just attach it back to the chair. Screw it back in place and you're done!
