Too late to trim hydrangeas?

I have 2 hydrangeas that took a hit w COLD SNAP in charleston. They have some green at the base.

i have Never cut them back. icon

What should i do now?

    Leave them to re-cover from the cold snap.Pruning now will add additional stress.After they have bounced back you will be able to determined what should be pruned.

    Don't do anything. They will come back. If you cut them now, you will cut the new growth areas.

    I have just trimmed mine back this weekend, they did have some green growth but a lot of dead limbs, since its very early in the season they will put out new growth and recover just fine.
