Less is More... Some beautiful items like Hostas a foot apart and Ur Favorite Flowers are a good choice.. Make sure everything is Perennials as the Hostas are
Nice thing about succulents use little to no water and so easy to care for. I have taken cuttings from all over stick them in water to re -root or stick cuttings straight into ground. We are on water rationing so perfect plants for my area. Once they start growing you can take cuttings from those plants. So basically you can make yourself a free cost succulent garden.
