Queen anne is usually oval with curved legs that's the basic orientation. You could change the finish of the table legs and leave the top in dark wood if finish in good shape. Match chair finish to the table legs. CRUNCHY looking finish like scraped peeling paint...a color like cream or one of the popular colors like gray or a light teal.. Are you going for the farmhouse look. If your dining chairs are soft bottoms recover them in burlap stenciled would look rustic
If it is really beautiful consider selling it. The best you will be able to do with paint is make it look like every other distressed chalk painted DR set.
Queen Ann style is a classic, I’m not sure fixer upper So called farm style is. Burlap ans shorts on a warm day? Very itchy. Denim would work better, painter cotton drop cloths with a water repellent spray could work as well for the chairs. The cotton can be stenciled with fabric paint prior to waterproofing.
Sell the Queen Ann table and get what you want, using the money you got from the sale.
