I need 5 lampshades to match a hall stairs n landing...Any cheap ideas

Do you have any shades or are you starting from scratch? What size?

Are they sconces or chandelier shades?

Try a habitats for humanity restore...many will donate ceiling fans -glass shades, and fixtures no one says you need to use the fan, and there may be just shades..

Is it for a chandelier? If just regular sized shades, I don't think you have to match them. They should coordinate and complement each other if you can see all five at the same time. If it's the little ones, try Hobby Lobby or thrift stores.

Yes sorry I have 5 mustard swede ones up...just looking ideas to change to black...

I agree! Gragb a bottle or two of black paint from the craft department of your favorite store and a couple of those disposable foam brushes and paint away. Happy decorating!
