What is the best method to paint kitchen cabinets yourself?

Clean well with tsp. Let dry. Prime with a stain blocking primer. I’ve painted cabinet wth a small roller, brush. There is an additive that usually goes in a paint sprayer..I mixed a bit of that to my paint to keep brush marks to a min..actually it can make them disappear. My mom “barrowed“ my paint sprayer...loaned it to a friend of hers and I never got it back. Had to rent one from my local lumber store For my last paint projecect.

Take the doors off and number them. Paint them laying flat.

We did our own kitchen cabinets; we removed the doors, cleaned and dried them, and then laid them on a dropcloth outside (or the garage) to paint
