Place fabric in freezer, then peel off when frozen

Take a piece of clean cotton and place it on your ironing board, lay your fabric with the hear and bond face down on it, press a hot iron on the area with the glue, pressing for a bit longer than you did to adhere the heat and bond. Peel it away from the cotton. Move the cotton over to a clean spot. Repeat until the glue has been absorbed into the cotton. It is really hard to get off, even though it is not really a permanent bond. If that doesn't work, wash (and don't put in the dryer) the fabric with the glue on it every time you do a load of laundry and it will eventually wear off. When I have done this, I have just thrown the fabric away.
