How would I paint two rooms different colors when there's no divider?

Hi :)
I would like to paint my kitchen and dining room two different colors. They share one long wall,the only thing that separates them is a built in bar off the kitchen, and I'm not sure how I would separate the colors.
They have been 1 color for awhile now and it looks terrible!
I'm hoping someone can give me the answer.

Including a picture would really help to get the best answers. You might run a trim piece up to the ceiling. Paint it the color of one of the rooms.
You could try painting the wall in each room a different color, and where they meet over the bar use both colors, sponging the lighter color over the darker one....
