How do I remove bed headboards? Especially once that are stuck on.

The headboard on one of my beds is set into vertical slots on each side of the bed frame. A good, strong, yank, upward will slide it out of the slot. Yours may be different but it's worth a try.

are you sure you have removed them from bedframe? Also generally nowadays the headboads come in two pieces-does that have any type of attachment to itself about half way down the leg of i?

You do need to see how the headboards are attached to the rails...careful with just assuming there are vertical slots, often times they are screwed into the rails. You are going to need a flashlight and get under the bed to see how they are attached.

The headboard could be fastened to the metal bed rail at the bottom with wing nuts, or a bolt and nut on each side. The headboard could also be fastened to the wall with a French cleat, slide upwards along wall to see if it comes off the cleat, and then there will be another section of it fastened to the wall.

Headboards are put in one of two ways. It is either affixed to the bed frame or it is attached to the wall. Best of luck to you.

Are you looking to take off old headboards & install new ones. Most all of beds have the same frame under them and it isn't real hard to get the bolts loose. You might need a friend that has some tools that will help you.
