What can I do about these invisible bugs that are biting us???
I tried sprays, on dog and on the yard. I tried flea collars and oil tubes. THey're biting my family and my sweetie boo dog!! Help!!
Knowing what kind of bug would help to know what to do. I tried 20 Mule Team Borax one time and it got rid of everything......But then always good to give the whole area a good cleaning afterwards.
You can add honey to Borax and that should attract the bugs and get them to the Borax
Take a bug to your county extension office and they will ID it for you and tell you want is most effective.
We had tiny black bugs in one of our bathrooms. we had an exterminator come 3 months in a row and it seems to have helped. They told us that the bugs were baby silverfish. Here is a link that might work on a variety of different bugs.

I use bay leaves. I crumbled some and put them in the holes around the pipes where the plumbing comes in then stuffed the holes with steel wool. I also burn bay leaves once or twice a week. We do not have bugs or mice as they all hate bay leaves!
do they fly or crawl or are you just finding them in things like flour etc?
Sprinkle borax around the areas the bugs travel. It is a safe and effective deterrent.
Sprinkle food grade diatomaceous earth, leave a couple days if possible then buy an electric plug in bug repeller
Are they drain flies?
I am all for the borax too,it usually is great for most bugs and lots of other things too, so good to have around. These tiny bugs establish themselves in the drain lines. You might also want to then use a safe for your particular pipe drain cleaner to really try to kill what has been established by them in the drain itself. Not much can survive a stronger drain cleaner either.
