    any pot with good drainage, herbs don’t like having wet feet. You may need to add additional lighting.light bulbs marked day light, or better are the grow bulbs.

    Self watering. But, most perennial herbs do better outside, they need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight.

    Hi Tina. Just make sure the pot is at least 3 times the size of the herb, and that it has good drainage.

    You can use pretty much whatever you want. The more important consideration if lighting.

    I've had better luck with putting herbs (parsley and basil anyway) directly in water. Just make sure there are no leaves resting in the water...remove leaves on part of stem that will be in water.
