If you love transforming your furniture into beautifully crafted pieces then you are going to love what Fusion Mineral Paint can do for them. It’s never been easier to paint furniture because Fusion Mineral Paint requires very little prep work, no sealing, and paintbrush marks that are much less visible.

If you never attempted to paint a piece of your furniture then you are going to love how easy a process it is to do!
I bought this piece from Pier 1 about 5 years ago and loved it! I still do but it suddenly became too drab and did nothing for my office space. Since I’m a geek, I have loads of tech equipment in my office and unfortunately, the room is not as large as I would like it to be – I had to pack a lot into this space and that’s a huge challenge.
I love the natural look of the bamboo and didn’t want to lose that feature so I knew that Fusion Mineral Paint in Fort York Red would be the transformative color it needed.
Fusion Mineral Paint is so easy to apply with its smooth matte finish, Fusion requires minimal prep work, no finishing coat, waxing or on-going maintenance!

I also wanted to mention don’t worry if you don’t have a dedicated space to paint in. You can safely turn any space in your home into a place to paint. I have a dedicated space in my garage where I do all the crafting and painting work, but I didn’t feel like dragging this piece downstairs, so I easily opened up my foyer area decided to a paint there. All you need is are some few basic things to get started like:
  • Drop cloth
  • Some old towels or rags
  • Paintbrush
  • Furniture Paint
And you can easily transform any old piece of furniture into something magical!
I’m so thrilled with the way it turned out. I also added some Fusion Mineral Metallics In Bronze to the edges of the cabinet to add some depth and dimension. I love the adding a pop of color to the edges of the doors, sides, and legs.
In the photo below you can see some of the edges with the metallics bronze. I knew this piece wouldn’t look good with that chippy look so adding the bronze really gave it the depth I was looking for.
I am thrilled with the way this pop of red plays off the red in my daybed. Refinishing this little cabinet truly transformed my office space!
