Growing seeds in this weather ? Is it to soon?

It is Feburary here in Arizona and my tomato (one,) seen to be growing and it is chlly here for the past few days. Can I start planting other vegetables? I did ask a question. I have had some very good advice so far and thanks

If you are buying seeds look at the back of the packet for planting dates: usually about 8 weeks before last frost date.
Well as far as I know it is February everywhere! 😎 I know exactly what you mean though. You have some possible rain approaching . . . Coming from San Diego. Funny as last Sunday I purchased two "San Diego" variety tomato plants at my local farmers market plant sale. I have never grown this variety before. We are having a cold snap (Yay!!!), and I have in my kitchen at the moment. Will harden off then plant within the next week or so.

Here, in Western NY, I have planted lettuces, chard, kale, spinach, peas, root crops and anything onion when the ground is soft enough to plant. They can take mild frosts and even snow on the plants without hurting them.
