Good day team! Because women have been in the news with both positive ,and negative views we know the importance of being a woman, and some of the ups and downs that come with being a woman. So as my tribute to women and to this being black history month, this little woman has sweetly covered her glory(head) in what else chocolate.
ok I used tooth picks for the woman's hair to stabilize the candy.
this stand was used to stand the doll on .
I purchased this small miniature bibles to put in her hands as one of the finishing touches.
enclosed in this packet are a small pair of glasses ,just to give her a distinguished look.
I keep this paper towel inserts for projects as these, this was inserted in the center core to provide a mount for her head.
I used this ribbon to sew around the hem of her dress and on her sleeves.

I used poly fill to stuff her arms and her body!
I love my trusty E6000 to seal her hand to the inside of the dress. oh by the way he hands are cut off of an old doll and her face is just a shell that is glued to a Styrofoam ball.
This Styrofoam ball is used to attach the Hershey kisses and to attach the face.
I intentionally purchased the black Hershey kisses for her hair.
This is old left over denim from old jeans I cut out the dress from a cut out online then sewed it together.
My trusty glue gun was used to seal the bottom of the dress so the foam would not fall through.
Step 1: I used mostly old materials to make the SWEET GLORY DOLL.
step 2:. cut out the denim and sew.
step 3: stuff the body with the paper towel insert and the poly fill
step 4;glue arms and feet to the edge seam and hem of the dress
step 5: attach the face to Styrofoam ball with glue then add earrings optional.
step 6: place glasses on the face before candy
Step 7: attach hair or candy to the head starting from the back sticking the one end of toothpick into the candy and then into the Styrofoam head
Step 8: place the doll on the stand , I actually sewed the hand together by sewing them to the dress as if she is praying or holding the bible... which she is.
step 9: attach bible to her by hot gluing it to her torso
step 10: the last commandment is to send her on her way!
