Unless you want to do major construction on the roof line, I would do things to camouflage it and take your eye away from the roof line. Try some trees in your front yard. Make the porch bigger and put some seating out there to make it welcoming. Plant some low growing shrubs and flowers to dress it up.
Your home is beautiful. You could build a pergola or a portico on the front, you could extend your porch clear across to the garage or just plant an upright or a dwarf tree to the right of your triple window.
To update the outside appearance of the home would would be major construction, easily into the tens of thousands. How much do you want to spend on the project?
