Part of my concrete patio has separated from the foundation of my house, will I need to replace the patio or does mud jacking the area really work

Mud jacking the patio may not help because there is nothing the seal the mud in. Rain and runoff will continue the run beside, behind and in between the patio and the foundation. I don't see why rocks, gravel or broken brick couldn’t be used as filler and the patio leveled up from there. If the drop or space is large enough, you may need one or two steps to bridge the gap. Just my opinion. ☺️

Mud jacking is excellent and will work even on interstate highways. I've seen many house foundation repairs, too. Most companies will give you a free estimate

Mud jacking will work but there is a newer high density foam product that is injected under the slab. It is injected under pressure and will raise the slab level with the rest of the patio. I had this done in my carport a year ago. Worked great. Much cheaper.
