How do i Clean a front loader washing machine

Right inside the door of machine is like a rubber seal it seems to have black marks on it and sometimes there are black marks on my washing
I have tried scubbing some i managed to clean but must be easier way at my age on the floor scrubbing any help much appreciated

You have mold. Quite common on newer front loaders. It will never come out, but can be reduced by spraying with mold/ mildew remover available near the bathroom cleaners in grocery store. After laundry is done. Spray spray spray and let sit. In case you are like me and forget things always do your white things first....every time. Gaskets can be replaced in case you are really having problems...leave door open just a crack when not using. It is very bleachy..treat with care

Stop scrubbing! Everyone equates scrubbing with clean and sanitized which is not true. The black marks are mold. You need to leave the door open after use to dry out. Use vinegar to clean off the seal. Vinegar kills mold spores, bleach does not.

Cleaning a Front Loading Washing Machine
If you live in a high humidity area and your laundry room does not have ventilation, this can happen. To solve it, increase the ventilation in your laundry room and ensure that the washing machine dries out completely after use. We installed a bathroom style ceiling fan in the light in the laundry room so that every time I turn on the light, the fan turns on.
To get the mold out, scrub with white vinegar and hot water. Make sure to scrub around the rubber gaskets on the door. If you don't get all the mold, then you get those black streaks you mentioned.
To prevent reoccurrence, leave the washing machine door open when it is not in use. And every season, pour straight white vinegar into all the dispensers then run a hot water wash
