I didn’t think bleach washing would hurt the coloring but not I have green spots where it took the mixed paint off. How can I fix this before landlord finds out!!!

  • You will need to prime and paint the wall. If you want to wash your walls, use a mild solution of vinegar and water.

I work in construction so I’m good at painting and have no problem doing that but I hate this color anyway but I know he’d be upset if I changed it without asking. I’m just going to have to try and match it the best I can. Lol

Sand, prime and paint. To match the paint, take a tiny piece Of the painted wall to a paint store and they can match it. 1/2 the size of your little pinkie will be plenty. ☺️

Try to get a match pot to touch in the colour OR put pictures/ mirrors up to cover

I spoke with someone at Lowe’s to see if they could match the paint but I’d have to scrape off a nickel size to do so plus it’s a very small bathroom, just the toilet and I have spots everywhere in the larger part. I will try to match pot though. Ty.

It's too bad you're renting... I actually think it looks kinda Cool!

Some of these other suggestions sound good, though...

    Good Luck!

Best of luck - otherwise choose the colour nearest to it and paint the walls again, with the hope the Landlord will not even notice...........

Sorry, you'll have to repaint. Sand, prime (to keep the color stuck on the wall and make it an even color), and paint.

  • Take a chip to the paint store for color matching and repaint. You can use a utility knife to get the chip off the wall in an inconspicuous spot.

Try removing one of the wall plates that cover the lights or outlets.Sometimes you can get easily a chip of paint from under them. Be sure to get the right finish, i.e satin, semi gloss etc.

Get a color match from Lowes or Home Depot and repaint.
