Black and white both would contrast nicely.
I think a pale green would look good. The room would be bright and happy. Go to the paint store and pick a couple of cards in colors you like and then see what colors you like in your room. Then try to find a color close to that for your furniture.
Hello Sharon, for a lighter look I would suggest using plum, lavender rose gold and cream. For a bolder look, I would suggest using mauve, plum, rose gold and navy. For a spring look, I would suggest using plum, mint, turquoise, teal, and cream.
