Have 1948 bungalow and bathroom gets too steamy from showers. We cannot install exhaust fan so we usually have to open window, which is in shower and while summer that is great , winter is a no go. Any ideas? And no cool showers and no leaving window open. It's a small bathroom.

Put a small oscillating fan in the room, but not close to the water areas. You need to keep the air moving and be sure to leave the door open after bathing.

Get a fan that will circulate the air when you are done with showers, just a fan you can set on the counter or a pedestal one that you could put on the floor. You just need something that will circulate the air in the whole bathroom, so it doesn't need to be a huge one, just one with good air flow.

There are many small bathroom dehumidifiers on Amazon. Note, made for bathrooms/wet rooms.

Most building codes require either an exhaust fan or a window to remove excess moisture...... Question..why is installing an exhaust fan not an option?

Thank you for answers/help. We have been leaving door open but noticed runs down the walls in hall and nearby bedroom.

I have husband who refuses to pay electrician and I refuse to let him do it himself.

I had not even thought of dehumidifier. Duh. You got me on that one. I'm going to get one and see how it goes.

    Thanks yall
