What is best to plant or landscap to prevent dirt erosion on a hill?

I have a hillside off my driveway with dirt erosion,I live in Pa with lots of rain and snow.

Use landscaping burlap (sold in bales), then plant a plant that runs - perhaps ground cover roses. Good luck.

Try ivy the roots will bind the soil there are all sorts of really nice colors on the market .
An ivy groundcover will do well
If your hill is sunny, use Ajuga! a beautiful green plant that has pretty purple flowers in the spring. It spreads super fast!
Myrtle is my choice of ground cover, pretty purple flowers that come back year after year with vines that go on forever preventing erosion.
