Left glasses in dishwasher that did not drain completely. Tried soaking in hot soapy water and scrubbed but to no avail. Thanks for your help.

You could run them back through with white vinegar.
  • Soak in straight vinegar for awhile. That should do it.

Try using vinegar and see if that works. Never put crystal in the dishwasher, it really does not like it. That is one of the things I never allow in the dishwasher, no matter how much a person wants to put it in there.

Hello! Actually, crystal cut glasses are not typically dishwasher safe. That type of glassware is fragile and will look cloudy over time because of minute scratches on the gkads. You can, howeve, try one of the three dishwasher additives recommended by consumer reports. Click on the link below to view their suggestions. Good luck!

I would use white vinegar and very hot water in a sink and let soak for a while, then take an old toothbrush and scrub them well. This make take a couple of tries, depending on how bad the haze is on your glasses.

I have had this problem and finally learned to hand wash them. Yes, try the white vinegar soak followed by hot water and mild scrubbing. Best of luck to you.
