i use the petsafe inground rf petfence for my dogs. Works great for both my 70lbs dogs and i personally feel its more humane than tying them up. You can find good deals on used kits on eBay and solid core wire at the hardware store.

Bolt cutters should Cut it and there are cable clamps that will make the loop on the end at your local home improvement center.

Loop it n to the coast itself and then fasten it.
I hate auto ck! Loop it on to itself...fasten the clip to the loop...yes it will fit.
