How to tile back splash when counter top is not level and slopes down

counter slopes down in corner with about 1 1/2 inch difference and don't know how to start, window is center and only one side slopes down

start at the lowest level and adjust the tiles by cutting them as you move 'up' . make sure you follow a straight line by snapping a chalk line or laser level line
Can you level the counter top prior to putting the tile back splash on? Instead of tile, you could use stones where the slope would be disguised.

A slope that large will be noticeable no matter what you do with the bachsplash. Leveling the counter should be your top priority.
You can level out the wall with a piece of wood and then start the backsplash there
