Professional grout cleaning

I’m having all the grout in my house professionally cleaned. Is it worth the extra money to have it sealed too?

    Hi Yammie,
I'd say yes. Either pay them to do it or do it yourself and save a lot of money. From what I've read, sealing the grout helps keep it cleaner and last longer. Wishing you the best.

I will third that, yes! It will make your money worth it to have it professionally cleaned in the first place. The sealant will make it last a lot longer.

That should be part of the professional cleaning process without added cost.. Cleaning is one part sealing to keep it clean should be second part. When the pro's finish floors isn't sealing them part of it?! When a pro put tile down isn't grouting part of the job?! I don't know why you feel you need all the grout cleaned especially professionally. Boy, what a racket. Had I known when I was younger!

sealing isn’t part of the deal when they clean the grout here. It’s an extra cost. Doing it myself is not an option.
      Thank you

Home Depot/Lowe's has grout sealer in a spray bottle that should be east to apply if the pros want to charge you too much.
