DIY your own house number plaque useing a precursor wood plaque and acrylic paint.You can choose a colour you like.Im going to choose black and gold.I even have a precut number which I can glue on the plaque and paint it.I love different shapes and sizes with wooden plaques.You can make different signs like Santa Stop Here sign,or silent night plaque for Christmas.The list goes on and on.You can also make a Mosaic Number Sign or even use a picture frame.Use your imagination .Im making a simple house number plaque.This is my first one I’ve made.
Supplies
1)wood plaque
2)Acrylic paint
3)Paintbrush
4)Glue
5)Number made of wood
6)Sandpaper
7)Gloss
How to make
1)Sand wood plaque smooth and number cutout


2)Paint the background colour.I chose black.Let dry then paint the edge in gold.

3)Paint the Cut out Number in gold.Let dry
4)Glue the cutout Number on the plaque in the centre.
5)Then seal with multiple coats of clear gloss spray.
6)Ready to attach to wall. Then you can hang it and display where you'd like.
