Next I would try scrubbing with baking soda and white vinegar with the grain. After stain is removed would use a cleaner that has oil to add protective coating. Good luck!

    Hi Pattycake3097,

I spent some time searching for an answer and discovered that furniture polish can actually be used to clean stainless steel unless it has bleach in it. Most articles say to clean with vinegar then polish with something like olive oil or baby oil, rubbing it in with the grain. If that doesn't work, I'd try calling the manufacturer of the sink and/or the manufacturer of the polish to see if they have any tips. Wishing you the best.

Try using a baking soda paste. You mix baking soda with water to make a paste and scrub lightly with the grain with a toothbrush. Hope that helps. if not try looking on youtube.

I have used Bar Keepers' Friend with great success on stainless steel. Just don't rub too hard and scratch your sink.

From day one, I use furnitures polish on my stainless steel sinkS. Keeps them shiny and bright, no water stains, as the water beads up and runs off.

  • I use Cerama Bryte stainless steel cleaner. It works like a charm when a good hot soak with Dawn dishwashing liquid doesn't do the trick. It's similar to Bar Keeper's Friend.
