Paint or no paint??

i painted the doors and facings upstairs. How much of the facings to I paint? I can't decide
I would base the answer on what is seen when the door is closed.
If the door is typically left open, whatever you can see when the door is open, especially on the hinge side, should be the same color as the outside of the door frame.
I would do all the molding in the same color as the doors, that is the trim around the doors as well
