How do I stabilize a 4x4 6' fence post without replacing it?

4x4 6' fence post has cracked below ground. Don't want to replace it yet. 2 sections of fence attached are moving back and forth about 6 to 8 "

Dig around the post down past the crack, cement the resulting hole (levelling the post) fill the soil back in
Maybe try star posts sounds like youbwill need to put them both sides of fence good luck
