How do you paint plastic flower pots to look real?

I have these big plastic flowerpots on my deck that are sturdier than terra cotta, but they are all faded and just plain ugly.

Try spray paint in a rusty color and then sponge paint (faux look) with black. Or try gray again with a little accent of black.

You can get a textured spray paint to make it have a stone like texture!
I used the granite rustoleum spray paint and it looks gorgeous ! Like stone !
