White liquid on stem of indoor plants. Suggestions?

    could be numerous issues first on insects....Re-pot in fresh soil and spray the entire plant with horticultral oil

    many plants have a white 'sap', but it should not be leaking from the plant unless the stem is damaged -- you may have some variety of insect damage, http://balconygardenweb.com/milky-sap-plants-you-must-know-about/ This white sap is usually very irritating to the skin and mucus membranes -- don't handle it with your bare hands, and don't let your pets munch on them; technically not 'toxic' but can cause serious discomfort and digestive issues if consumed
