Should be ok.
I'm in Kentucky and we are expecting snow this weekend. We have been experiencing a little warmer weather than usual here recently and alot of the flowering plants and trees are blooming. But I'm going to wait before I do anything to my flowering plants and trees till I know for sure what damage the cold weather has done to them . So not to damage them any more.

Pruning rose bushes can be done in the Spring. Best advice for pruning was from Martha Stewart about 20 yrs. ago. Maybe you could check out the MS website archives for great rose pruning tips. I'd say to wait until weather warms up there in Mass.
