Sorry don't have any progress pictures as this was done before Hometalk. This is a historic church, in our town.
We bought a bird house made by a townsperson for an anniversary gift for our daughter who was married in the church. That bird house did not hold up so my husband made this one. The big change he made was to have a copper roof (which is unlike the real one) but the wooden roof on the first house rotted.
My intention of posting this here is to remind members of Hometalk that inspiration lies everywhere and creativity knows no bounds! The size of this is about 25 inches long. The name of this church is Spurwink and there are lots of pics of it on Pinterest.

Thanks Wendy, my husband is a person who spends all his time working on creative endeavors. He is an artist and a sculptor but loves printing and wood working too. Not literally all his time as he reads and we watch t.v.!
