How can you organize a room that everyone goes through?

What is there to "organize?" Set up the room so that it is useful for her and still have a clear walk through path for others when needed. Might take some playing with furniture placement, but it can be done. Add doors or at least tension rods with curtains for privacy when needed. Easy, simple, done.

Is there any way to separate the spaces? I had a friend that had the same issue and she put up bookcases and wallpapered the back of them, it looked nice and gave her son privacy. Of course, there still was not a door for his room, but he felt that the bookcases gave him a separate space.

We have sort of a reverse situation at my daughers house. My grandson must walk through the guest room to go to his room. Since he is at college and his sister doesn't live there now it is less of a problem, but for a child whose room is constantly being walked through a more private situation should be employed. I would suggest, if it is at all possible, walling off the main part of her room so it is completely private. What is the reason others have to go through the room? If it is a true necessity, it is no less true that it is necessary that this teenager, should have more privacy.

Hello! Best thing to do would be to maximize storage space. Utilize storage boxes — available at Wal-Mart or other retAilers — to store shoes or seasonal clothes under the bed.. Declutter to open the space. As far as pricvacy, I am sure your daughter would appreciate a screen to block the view of anyone passing through! Good luck!

What about a partition, curtain or privacy screen to make her area totally separate? You could use furniture to help separate the area, also. She needs her privacy. I would be uncomfortable, with the current set-up for a teenage girl. Could her bedroom be relocated and her room used for a different purpose?

I lived in a studio apartment, and to keep people out of my sleeping area/bedroom I painted the back of my dresser, and used two tall bookcases and put up security screens so it was like a wall across the area. You could also put up a floor to ceiling curtain to block it off also.

Why does everyone walk through the room? going from where to where? can you relocate a doorway(s) to those areas to make the room private?
