Wall picture frame ideas

I have an 18" frame shaped like the sun. Typically I've seen mirrors put in the center, and that's fine, but I'm looking for a fresh idea. The display area in the middle is about 6.5". Thanks!

A clock, pretty fabric or scrap book or wrapping paper, a medallion.
Or use a picture....one you really love. You could take a picture of a pic you love, enlarge on your computer to fit the size you need. Or type up your favorite saying and scale it on your computer to fit into the space. One of my favories is: Wish I didn't know now, what I didn't know then.. Think it is from an old Eagles song.. or it could be just one word that inspires you...in whatever color you like because you'll be making it on the computer.
Here are 2 possible ideas that are on Amazon. You could put one of the pots in the circle and put a plant in it.
- mini globe, mini dart board, coloured slinky, dial from old dial telephone, 45 LP record.............
Cool. Mulling these over. I had originally considered a map, but a globe would be better. Thanks.
