Concrete sidewalk is peeling; how can I fix it?

Scrape or wire brush it and repaint with nonslip paint that complements your house color.
Hi Chris, Pressure wash it to remove more of the peeling paint. Then apply fresh coat of paint made especially for concrete. How many coats is up to you. Best of luck to you.

We had the same problem. About 20 years ago, we put down pavers set in brick colored concrete over the sidewalk. It has worked very well. Make sure you scrape up all the loose concrete and put down a good deep base for your pavers.
I was told that this was caused because the people doing the concrete when the house was built used rocks that were too large for that purpose. It happened in our driveway too and we replaced it due to that unslightly look and other problems.
