Question about doing Epoxy counter tops

Iam thinking about doing the epoxy counter top thing. Do they look like Granite or like painted counters. I was thinking of hiring someone to do it. I would like to know about what it costs. I appreciate any help.

Read everything on You Tube about how to do them. One of the best ideas was to have "gutters" around the edges so no drips on cupboards, about $8 from home store. Also, have enough product to pour where you are using it the first time, and have help. If you do your homework it will be beautiful. They look very shiny and need to be cleaned after use to keep them looking that way. More maintenance than regular countertops, especially if the sun shines one them.
