I have a small pointcettia and it’s only got a few red leaves left,

Am wondering if I can plant it outside (weather permitting) and then what do I do with it?

    Pointcettias are perinnels...they just don't like cold weather, so keep them inside until the weather is warm at night...they will grow and be green all summer

    So when I take it in ,in the fall will it get red leaves ?

    poinsettias are not perennials.they are a holiday plant.if you live in a southern climate you can plant them outside.

    poinsettias are tropical plants, they can be planted outside after the danger of frost is past. It will become a beautiful bushy plant with dark green leaves. I always get compliments when I do this. The red leaves are actually called braks and will not c back on. My mother in law‘s would get about 4 feet tall in southern IL. I’m in south central KS and mine usually got about 3 feet tall and around
