What can I do about large heating pipes in my laundry room?

    I presume you are trying to make them less noticeable? It may be as simple as painting them or the entire ceiling all one color. Since they are necessary, you can either cover them up or make them less noticeable. If they are within the depths of the support system for the floor above you maybe be able to create a solid ceiling. Good luck.     Hi Joietc, You could paint them the same color as the wall behind it. That way they should be less obvious.

    We primed and painted the plumbing pipes and pipe insulation and that visually improved the appearanc.

    I would build a 2-3 sided box around them. Then cover the box with faux brick to make it appear that it is an exposed chimney or exposed brick wall.
