Farmhouse sinks are all the rage. It’s one big sink for washing vegetables or a pile of dishes. But, unless you use a washtub inside the sink, you can’t rinse the dishes. I still prefer a stainless steel double sink. And it’s the faucet that makes the sink. Get a nice one. ☺️

If your kitchen is more modern and you are getting new countertops, I would have an undermount sink. They not only look great, but it is easy to clean the countertops since you can wipe everything right into the sink and wash the mess away!

I have stainless steel, which I like. But most importantly, go big and deep. I personally don’t care for divided sinks. Too many angles to keep clean.

My 27” x17”x10” deep sink lets me have room for the pasta pot as well as the colander. Big enough to to bathe a baby at a comfortable height.

It depends on what your kitchen design style is and what your budget is. But, if I had to get a new sink, I would look at a granite composite sink.
