I have never painted an awning but seems like everything but! I bet it would stick well, but I'd question how long it might last against the elements. good luck, but I love the yellow! LOL
If you are not worried about over spray then that is the way to go. You can use a brush or one of the foam brushes but be sure to use aluminum paint.
I've never done an awning, but, patio umbrellas can be done with outdoor spray paint. Be sure what you are using is intended for outside.
Should work fine but I would definitely clean them really well first.
Make sure you seal it with a UV clear protectant
I understand that you already have paint, but if it's not Rustoleum or a simiar product, it's not going to last. That said, if you clean with TSP it will do about the best job of prepping your surface barring completely removing what's there. s available at most hardware and home improvement stores, or even large department stores with paint departments. Do you really need the awnings? If you remove them it will update the mobile considerably. If not, yes, you can paint them. make sure you clean them well with TSP first. I just looked at your picture again. Is there anyway of cutting off the scallop part of the awning? Just an idea to try to update them.
Thank you, but gets pretty warm out her. Have awning over both large concrete patios and when weathers good what a joy to sit outside.
