Hi there, I used a big shelf to cover the distance between my tv and my media stand so the cords would be hidden behind the shelf. After that twist ties help a lot to pick up all the cords so they don't hang about.

I just went through mine Sunday and found three things plugged in that were not necessary for the tv area, or were not attached to anything. (Old vcr that doesn’t work, a lamp nearer another plug, a phantom cord). So make sure everything is necessary, first. Then decide if you want to move any furniture. Next, determine who can see behind your tv, and if you want to do anything about it.

After cleaning up the wires, the easiest thing for me is camouflage. I have used different things, but I really liked setting (artificial) plants at each end of the tv table. Since it’s dark behind the table, you couldn’t see through the plants.

Another time I used a plant under a table, hiding the cords. Another time, same table, I found a woven basket in the garage, dropped all the cords and wires into the basket, and stuck a full stem of silk flowers in front In the basket.

Once, I had a couple of navy blue cushions that were as dark as our floor at that time I tucked them at each end of the chest holding the tv. We've had a bunch of TVs in fifty years of marriage and lots of cords to hide, since they bother me when no one else knows or cares. And cheap, low tech, cute answers are my choice. ☺️

Office Depot or office supply stores have a great variety of fasteners that will keep computer cords or TV cords up and around the back of whatever is holding your TV up to keep them out of the way. Check those out.
