There are innumerable ideas for fireplace makeovers, but without a picture they might only be random and unuseable. Please post a picture of your fireplace the way it is now, and what the rest of the room looks like. That way more Hometalkers would be able to see what exactly you have to work with and would be able to offer suggestions specific to your individual situation.
We replaced our old marble mantel & now I would like to repurpose it. The piece measures 8" x 1 1/4" x 6'. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
