The glass shower door in the house we recently bought opens the wrong direction. Can the door be reversed?

There are many manufacturers of shower doors and each one does things a little differently. Without seeing your door or identifying manufacturer and model there is no way to say.

It can be turned upside down and re-installed. Be sure to plug the old holes with caulk so it doesn't get water in it. Take the moment while its off the hinge to clean it well, and apply a think layer of Turtle wax, polish it up, and clean the bottom bracket well. It'll look brand new.

Is this a sliding door or a hinge door? Some are designed to be reversed while others may not? It’s a tough one to answer without seeing the door and hardware. Some sliding doors it’s just a matter of lifting up on the door and pulling it out of the track at the bottom and removing it for the time being. Then moving the other panel over to the other side. And spinning your door around and popping it back into the track on the other side. All depends what company made it and how it’s designed? Same goes for hinges doors. Some are designed to be switched either direction. If you don’t have the original directions. If you can find the company that makes it you might be able to find the directions on the company website. If it’s fairly new your chances are good it’s reversible

If the door is on hinges, be careful switching. You might not have enough support to hold the door on the side you want to hinge it.
